Supporting Break Charity

Supporting Break Charity

As part of our ongoing CSR (corporate social responsibility) programme, CT4 was pleased to donate to Break Charity this month, to support the specialist care services they provide for vulnerable children, young people, and families across East Anglia (East of England).

Break’s primary work is the provision of six small ‘family’ homes for children, catering for a maximum of four children between the ages of seven to seventeen. Break also provides an Assessment Centre for families who could be at risk of having their children taken into care, Transition and Mentoring services for young people leaving the care system, and a Therapeutic Fostering Service for traumatised young people.

Break also caters young people with severe learning disabilities, providing a four-bedded residential home, and a Care Centre to provide short breaks (previously known as respite care).

Break’s aim is to help children experience better emotional and mental wellbeing, to feel that they belong, to exercise more control in their lives, and be actively engaged in learning.

CT4 wholeheartedly supports the important work done by Break Charity. If you would like to support their work too, you can donate online via their website here http://break-charity.org/support-us/donate/
